I have some advice for js949-- Get your glutes off that library chair and find a job. Refill your prescriptions for Viagra and Rogaine and quit dwelling on that "high school incident". Honestly, most of us have forgotten all about that. *snicker* There's someone out there for you sweetie....... go get em tiger :)
Tammy and Monica Crowley are good friends.
In my opinion, Tammy is second only to Monica when she was 6 days a week. Now , the next attorney general, only does Saturday.
When radio hosts take time off, they get fill-ins who are 3rd rate boring no talents. They don't want the potential competition. They only exception is Rush Limbaugh who usually gets Mark Steyn, who I like almost as much. Who would Tammy get - the Palin Democrat?
I don't mind Tammy taking a day off here and there. Everyone needs that. But it would be cool if she had a fill in host sometimes, instead of a repeat program. She's got several knowledgeable and witty contributors that I think could do great.
To change the subject, we know that next to Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton is Tammy's favorite politician. I wonder how Tammy feels about Hillary threatening Israel with an arms embargo if they don't cancel plans to build homes in Jerusalem.
js949, When you show signs of knowing what you're talking about we can have a conversation. For one thing, you're figuratively comparing apples to oranges. Tammy isn't a magazine or newspaper, nor does she have a staff of dozens or hundreds or even thousands of people. If she did have a staff that large, and had guest hosts for everything but one hour per week that she hosted, then that would be a valid criticism. Tammy also isn't reporting news. I listen to her for her perspective on the issues. For me that's worth a lot more than what I'm paying as a TAM. You don't like Tammy. We get it.
Maybe I have little standing to complain but I ask the TAMs: suppose you subscribed to a magazine or newspaper and 1 issue out of 5 they sent you a "best of" issue which was the same magazine they printed a few weeks ago because they all decided to take the day off. How long would you continue to subscribe?
Tammy is hardly the worst offender here. Rush, Savage, and Dennis Prager take off much more time than her and charge for their podcasts.
OK, so if you're a regular 8-5'er, you may get 5 weeks vacation after being at the job for 15 years. Tammy hardly takes the equivalent of that, and what she does take is spread out over the year one day here and there. Chillax.
