As talk radio fans ourselves, we wanted easy access to the most popular talk radio programming on the internet… With the help of our TalkStreamLive community we have compiled a ready made list of the best in talk radio show links that are streaming “live” right now on the Internet.

TalkStreamLive.mobi offers you the top links to the ten most popular Talk News, Sports and Music stations -- a total of 40 stations right on your cell phone!

How we select stations: Our community submits the shows and determines the ranking of each show just by listening. The top 40 stations are presented to TalkStreamLive.mobi on your hand held device.

Requirements: Mobile Windows Media Player and an Internet Data Service Plan. Also, make sure you have a car charger because streaming does draw from the phone’s battery. I am a heavy user of the service and have found audio streaming to be relatively light on bandwidth usage.

I enjoy streaming audio just about everywhere and especially in my car where I have a Bluetooth headset. If you have one of the new Bluetooth enabled car radios – you’re set.

 

Netcasts...
TalkStreamLive has now integrated netcasts into our dynamic list to bring you the cutting edge in talk programming.

A netcast (formerly called a podcast) is a talk or music show that you can listen to on demand right from your computer. Just click the player button and the show is streaming. You do not need an ipod -- you can listen right on your computer. Keynote speaker at the second annual Podcast Expo, Leo Leporte said: you will now refer to them as “netcasts.” – and we concur.

How it Works...
Radio stations and Netcasters worldwide stream their talk shows for anyone to listen to via the internet. TalkStreamLive provides a dynamic list of links to these talk shows that are streaming live or on demand right now. Users can hyperlink to these web sites via the TalkStreamLive list and listen to their favorite talk radio shows without the need of searching or calculating time zone differences. When a show goes off the air, it is replaced with a new live program. TalkStreamLive has done the work for you.

 

The List…
The list never sleeps. It operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, providing hyperlinks to current live or on-demand talk shows and Netcasts. The list also indicates the most popular shows on TalkStreamLive. The bars you see indicate which shows have received the most clicks… So Talk Radio and Netcast shows are ranked on the list by popularity according to our users preferences that day.

Users of TalkStreamLive may read thread titles of blogs that have subject matter relating to or about the type of issues discused on talk radio.
